2013 Annual Leave Part 3 - Idaho and Washington State

The next 11 days were full of great reunions with friends from California, Michigan, Idaho...and of course, Washington!  Days flew by but we made so many wonderful memories!

We ended our amazing trip by having a "Thanksgiving dinner" in September with the family.  We filled our tummies with homemade stuffing, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes...and the list goes on! I'm sure we will be drooling over the pictures and will be reminiscing over that dinner when November comes around.

Our annual leave was just incredible and we thank God for the opportunity we had to catch up with family and friends.  You know you miss your family and friends when you are away.  But you almost don't realize just how much you've missed them until you are back.  If we were honest with ourselves, we would admit that we did wonder, "What would it be like if we were to move back to the States now...?!"  However, I am glad we can say with all of our hearts that we both feel convicted that St. Kitts is exactly where God wants us to be.  That is exactly where we want to be, right in the midst of God's will.

So once again, we boarded the plane for the fifth time in five weeks with our seven suitcases, a stroller, and a carseat...
